Prayers for the week during April

Morning

God of love that never dies, help me this day to see where your love is present and where it is needed. Help me to be a presence of love in those places of need. May your love give me strength this day for all the things that I face or am concerned about facing. Walk with me loving one on this journey that has so many twists and turns. Amen.

Evening

Compassionate God, help me to let go of the things I did or should have done this day that were unhelpful, unkind, or burdensome. May you quiet my spirit this evening so that I may rest deeply and arise in the morning refreshed to try once again to be your loving presence. Amen.
