Prayers for the week of January 14th

Morning Prayer

God of the sunrise, shine a light into my life this day. May your presence be a warming comfort as I walk through cold days. Help me to see where you are present and working so that I might join in your loving work. Amen.

Evening Prayer

God of the moonlight, as this day closes help me to reflect on where you were being that presence of love, joy, peace, and hope. As I sleep this evening calm my spirit so that I may wake refreshed and ready to engage the world anew tomorrow. Amen.
