Moving from the Lincoln Park Community Forum to the Lincoln Park Social Development Coalition

Description: In January 2020 a Community Forum was held at the Lincoln Park High School for the purpose of bringing the community together (mostly service providers) to gather data in how we could help the city of Lincoln Park thrive. After the Community Forum the planning committee intended to have a follow up meeting a few months later but Covid hit. The planning team pivoted into the Social Development Coalition Task Force. In this capacity we are navigating how to continue the work of bringing services and those in need together through building a referral system and an organization that lives within the city structure.
